A transmission repair that costs $3,000 in other states can easily exceed $4,500 in NJ. Our coverage protects you from these elevated costs by paying the repair facility directly.
Coverage does not begin immediately. All current policies have a standard waiting period of 30 days and 1,000 miles. Both requirements must be met before coverage begins.
Athena covers mechanical and electrical failures regardless of the underlying cause, as long as the failure is not a pre-existing condition. Corrosion-related electrical failures, cooling system leaks, and other salt-accelerated mechanical breakdowns are covered under our Deluxe and New Car Coverage plans.
